The Souvenir Shop

Genuine Handmade Ojibwe Crafts

Open all year, every day, the St. Francis Solanus Souvenir Shop is located in the School at St. Francis Solanus Mission at Reserve on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation on County Trunk E near Hayward, Wisconsin.

Begun in the 1920’s with the School Sisters of St. Francis selling souvenirs out of the convent, the little shop was later moved to the school in the 1950’s. Today the souvenir shop features genuine Ojibwe handcrafts created by the local Ojibwe featuring beadwork of bracelets, headbands, barrettes, hair pieces, key rings, purses, belts, dolls, birch bark items, baskets, birdhouses, canoes, handmade stitched quilts, paintings, moccasins, dream catchers, necklaces, breastplates, chokers and more.

Imports and religious items are also available at the shop which also includes displays of many museum quality artifacts.

All are welcome! Visitors from all the States and across the world visit the Mission each year.

The shop is open all year, every day.
